My role: Redesign, improve and develop

At Audio Network, I led design initiatives to boost user engagement and improve checkout conversion rates. My responsibilities included redesigning critical pages in the checkout flow and developing the UI for track and album pages. Additionally, I collaborated closely with stakeholders to transition the frontend technology stack to a modern solution. My role required a blend of planning, design, and frontend development, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Projects

Project: Album and track page redesign

Track page

The existing track page did not align with the new design language developed before I joined Audio Network. My task was to create a clean, modern layout that would present all essential information clearly and encourage user interaction with the track.

I focused on improving the visual hierarchy to emphasise key details and positioned the track waveform as the central element of the page. This helped users understand the rhythm and progression of music before listening to it.

Album page

Similarly, the album page required a complete overhaul to align with the updated design language. I aimed to create a cohesive and visually appealing layout that effectively showcased album artwork, track lists, and additional album details.

This redesign aimed to enhance the user experience by making it easier for users to explore and interact with album content, ultimately driving higher engagement and sales.

Project: Checkout flow redesign

The existing checkout process at Audio Network was convoluted, causing user drop-offs and reduced conversion rates. We analysed the entire journey, pinpointing areas of friction and opportunities for enhancement. I aimed to simplify every page in the journey, emphasising the most critical user actions while reducing visual clutter and annoyances.

Working closely with the development team, I ensured the final design was elegant and responsive, aiming to reduce friction and elevate the user experience.
